About the CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Network+ certification requires junior level IT professionals to demonstrate expert knowledge in network maintenance by passing an exam. The exam to attain certification is, exam: N10-004: CompTIA Network, it consists of 100 questions which measures the candidate’s knowledge of network management, maintenance, installation and operation.
Network maintenance skills involve securing a network by troubleshooting technical problems. The CompTIA network exam objectives are co
nsistent with vendor neutral certification. The exam measures the candidate’s ability to handle a wide range of IT networking problems using technology and methodology.
The CompTIA Network+ certification exam includes: technologies and topologies, media, devices, tools and security. It is recommended that candidates have at least 9 months of work related experience in IT networking and CompTIA A+ certification.
Attaining certification allows IT professionals to qualify for the most in-demand positions such as Network Administrator, Network Engineer or Systems Engineer (Computer IT Networking).
Credential is valid for three years.
